Before the surgery
The body weight should be fixed – stable, there should not be any noticeable changes in the last two or three months. Additional examinations – blood test, as well as ultrasound of the anterior abdominal wall.
Process of the surgery
Excess skin and fatty tissues are removed from the anterior and lower part of the abdomen, but muscles are tightened. An umbilical transposition is also performed, if needed. The cut is made in the lower part of the abdomen in the bikini area. The surgery lasts about 2-3 hours and the surgery is performed under general anaesthesia.
Post-operative period
You should stay in the hospital for 3-4 days. You should wear an abdominal support belt for 2 to 3 weeks. You can start active physical activity in 4-6 weeks. Scars are bleached and become invisible within 3 to 12 months.
Result
The result is long-term, but can be influenced by drastic changes in body weight and pregnancy. You should not plan your pregnancy faster that in a year.
